Any grants are welcome, but the limit is not nearly high enough to pay 90% of the regulatory approval costs. For example, the engineering study necessary to obtain a building permit for a 20KW wind turbine will cost nearly all of the $10,000 limit for grants for that size project. And this doesn't begin to address the surveys, studies, reports etc that may be required by the Ministry of Environment.

    Thanks for your input Richard.
Please note CEPP grant caps are suggested amounts based on experience in the field, and UP TO 90% of costs - however each grant application will be considered individually.  Please feel free to contact Evan Ferrari at CEPP to discuss your 20 kW wind project in more detail.
