Minister Duguid Meets CEPP Grantees at CP Conference

Tuesday, November 16, 2010

Energy Minister Brad Duguid met several Community Energy Partnerships Program grant recipients after announcing $1.7 million in CEPP grants at the Community Power Conference in Toronto on November 15th.

On hand at the Community Power Fund / CEPP booth to meet and greet the Minister were representatives of the Mount Carmel Spiritual Centre, who are developing both rooftop and ground mounted solar PV projects.

Also discussing their community solar power project with the Minister were representatives of BurlingtonGreen group, and the Water Power Group had a chance to share their new hydro project plans with the Minister too.

Congratulations to all CEPP grant recipients.  Keep the applications coming!  CEPP grants are non-competitive and applications that satisfy grant requirements are being reviewed on a monthly basis.  Visit our eligibility and funded activities pages to find out more ...
